Tottenham have received a transfer boost in their bid to sign Sporting Lisbon star Pedro Porro.
According to the Daily Mail, Sporting are weighing up an offer for Heerenveen ace Milan van Ewijk as a potential replacement for Porro.
However, the Portuguese giants face potential competition from Premier League sides Southampton, Wolves and Fulham while PSV Eindhoven have also made an enquiry.
Spurs have made Porro their main target for the January transfer window.
Sporting have been previously pointing to the right-back's buy-out clause of £40million.
But it is understood there may be a softening in their stance if Tottenham can pay £30m plus bonuses
